Lisa Laskowski serves as Director of Development at St. Peter's College (SPC), an affiliate of the University of Saskatchewan. She is a key member of the College's fundraising steering team, comprised of the President, Special Advisor to the Board of Governors, Co-chair of the Board of Governors, and Chair of the Finance Committee.

Lisa leads SPC's fundraising initiatives, and is responsible for the College's $4.5 million Key to Success Campaign.

After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with degrees in commerce and music performance, she went on to work as a professional in the areas of print and broadcast media where she gained valuable experience as a  producer and host before joining the University of Saskatchewan in 1994.  As the only McConnell Fellow outside of Ontario and Quebec, Lisa held the post of Special Assistant to the Executive Director of Alumni and Development .

From 1995 to 1997, Lisa was the Development Officer managing the University of Saskatchewan's $30 million First & Best National Campaign, which ultimately raised in excess of $50 million.

In 1997 she became the first-ever Director of Advancement and External Relations at Assiniboine Community College (ACC) in Manitoba where she served on the President's Senior Executive Council and was responsible for college fundraising, alumni relations, marketing, communications, student recruitment, and enrolment.  She also was the Executive Director of the ACC Foundation and the ACC Alumni Association, which she established with a team of staff and volunteers.  Under her leadership, ACC was the first-ever college in Canada to win the Meloche Monnex Fellowship in Alumni Affairs.

In 2002, Lisa was recruited by the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST), to serve as its inaugural Director of  Development and Alumni. During her tenure, she led the creation of the SIAST Foundation and became its first Executive Director.  Alternative revenues increased beyond expectations and new revenue streams were generated, resulting in the organization's largest ever procurement and disbursement of private and other sector support.  As the director responsible for fundraising and alumni programming at four urban campuses, Lisa guided  the institution in setting up new philanthropic partnerships at regional, provincial and national levels.  She was also responsible for student scholarships and awards.

In 2006, Lisa became the Director of Development at St. Peter's College with a mandate to reformulate and reenergize that institution's fund development priorities . As director for institutional development, she is responsible for alumni relations, student scholarships and awards, and raising private and other investment in support of the College's  $15 million capital and infrastructure plan.

An active community member, Lisa has held executive and other volunteer positions with various arts and other not-for-profit organizations, including the Saskatoon  Symphony, her children's schools and the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) where she was the Director of the Board representing Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba from 1999 to 2005; Chair of the Programming and Professional Development Committee from 2001-2005; Member of the Programming and Professional Development Committee in 2000; Regional Correspondent for CCAE's national newsletter Ensemble  from 1994 to 2000; Member of the Communications Committee from 1995 to 2000; and Vice-Chair, National Awards Committee from 1999 to 2000.  She also served as a CCAE Prix D'Excellence Awards adjudicator in the late 1990s.

Laskowski has received numerous awards for her work, including those from the Canadian Cable Television  Association, the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education and Leadership Saskatoon.
