2010-2011 Academic Year Wraps Up At SPC
St. Peter’s has finished another successful university year.
Orientation Day, Sept 6, started the year off for St. Peter's Students. The following day classes were underway and our students learned how university works and how to succeed at their classes. It is not just about academics for SPC students – many students continue to work part-time jobs, coach sports and volunteer throughout the year.

St. Peter's gave out many scholarships and awards this year. The ceremony was held in November and many students and families attend the lunchtime event.
Students formed a student council who worked successfully on various philanthropic and student events such as dances and a ski trip.Men in Black (MIB), the campus ministry team was active throughout the year putting on many events for students. There were lunches and a supper for the students to enjoy. A campus Alpha program was also run in the second semester. The annual mediaeval feast is also organized by MIB. The feast this year was a lot of fun for all with everyone dressed up in costume.

St. Peter's also hosted Opportunities Edge and Health Link this year. Both of these events bring high school students on to campus and allows them to explore their future employment and educational opportunities. St. Peter's partnered with CanSask for Opportunities Edge and with Sasaktoon Health Region and Horizon School Division for Health Link.

Each semester finished with a celebration. The first semester included great food and karaoke. The End of year party included a ‘minute to win it’ competition. There was lots of laughter and joking as the students watched each other try to complete the tasks.
