Rock the Mount
This began in 2002 and was offered as a follow-up to World Youth Day, but it has now taken on a life of its own. It has become a common gathering and celebration of many Catholic youth ministries and initiatives. In the spirit of pilgrimage, the event is free of charge, although they do accept donations from those in attendance.
Bishop Donald Bolen is inviting everyone to Rock the Mount 2010, scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2010. Last year 1300 -1500 people attended the annual event held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Shrine, 20 minutes from Humboldt, SK.
