SPC Student Ryan Campbell Makes Regular Season SJHL Debut
First year SPC student and rookie Humboldt Bronco goalie Ryan Campbell got the start for Wednesday night's (September 30) SJHL showdown with the North Battleford Stars. The outcome was not what Bronco fans would have liked as the Stars downed the Broncos 5 to 4 at the EPA (Elgar Peterson Arena).
Campbell showed what he's made of in the first few minutes of play - his ability to move the puck is obvious - he's got great hands. Campbell faced 27 shots and was pretty solid over all in net.
Ryan was accepted into the College of Commerce (U of S) and when his hockey career brought him to Humboldt he decided to not put his education on hold and signed up for a couple of classes at St. Peter's College for the fall semester.
SPC wishes good luck to Ryan for the rest of the hockey season and success in classes this year!
