St. Peter's College Student Gives Back
Kyle Fontaine is a full time SPC student and he works two jobs. The inspirational student also gives back to the community. You can find Kyle most days in a hockey rink; he volunteers his time helping to coach the local Midget AA hockey team. As a former Humboldt Bronco (Junior A), Kyle has much to contribute to this young team. Kyle is a natural mentor and leader and the bonus is that he gets to coach his little brother, Curtis.
The team wrapped up the Center Four Hockey League Championship with a Tuesday night win in Prince Albert. It was a hard fought, best-of-three series with Curtis Fontaine scoring the winner in OT. Congratulations to the 2010 League Champs.
This weekend the team travels to Lumsden to play in their second game of a two-game-total-point series for the Provincial Final. Unfortunately, the Broncos lost the opening game 3-2 but are very confident of a strong come back in game two. Good luck Broncos and good luck Kyle!
