Staff Give One Hundred Per Cent

100 per cent of staff at St. Peter's College are participating in the College's Key to Success $15 million capital campaign.

A scholarship established through monthly donations by each one of the staff members who works at St. Peter's College will support the new St. Peter's College Merit Award.  The Award will recognize a full-time St. Peter's College student who has demonstrated leadership, community or College involvement, and academic success. The scholarship will be awarded for the first time in the 2011/2012 academic year at the November Scholarships and Awards ceremony.

"One of the principal fundamentals for the operation of St. Peter's College is our belief of excellence in education," mentions Reva Bauer.  "This scholarship fund allows those who are here as students at SPC the opportunity to obtain an education they might not otherwise get.  The staff of St. Peter's College recognize and value lifelong learning, and we believe that creating a staff supported scholarship will help our students achieve academic success now and in their future endeavors."

St. Peter's staff members offer a wide range of support to the students, having experience ranging from two to thirty years in their respective fields.  "Having every single staff member donate money to St. Pete's at this critical time really demonstrates our commitment to our students and to the future of St. Peter's College," says Jennifer Fafard.  "It is just one more reason why I love working here."
