Health Science Program Streams
Through the Collge of Arts and Science there are many non-direct entry Health Sciences programs that you can fulfill some or all of the requirements for at St.Peter’s College.
Dentistry:
The following university-level courses are required pre-dentistry courses. Applicants must have a minimum overall average of 70% in the required pre-dentistry courses. Please see the College of Dentistry website for further details about the application process. At least 30 credit units (1 full year) of the prerequistes maybe completed at St. Peter’s College.

Medicine:
As the only medical school in Saskatchewan, the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan has a responsibility to serve the residents of the province. As such, 90% of first year positions are reserved for Saskatchewan residents.
To apply for the college of medicine students must have completed 60 credits units of university course work including the following prerequistes with an average of at least 78%. Please see the College of Medicine website for further details about the application process. At least 30 credit units (1 full year) of the prerequistes maybe completed at St. Peter’s College.

Nursing:
The new four-year College of Nursing undergraduate program of the University of Saskatchewan will begin in 2011. The first year will be a pre-professional year followed by three years of nursing education leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Veterinary Medicine
The pre-veterinary course requirements are usually met in a College of Arts and Sciences or a College of Agriculture.
